KVS (PGT/TGT/PRT) – INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

The questions asked during the interview of KVS can be categorised into four distinct categories, such as:

  1. Personal questions.
  2. Questions related to teaching and KVS.
  3. Questions related to academics (B. Ed / UG etc.)
  4. Question from General Awareness / Current Affairs / General Knowledge topics.

A candidate may be asked few questions from all these four categories or from either of these categories. There is no fixed ratio of questions asked from each category.  It’s advisable that the candidates prepare well and leave no category untouched.

  • What is your teaching philosophy?
  • What is pedagogy?
  • Do you support the Formative and Summative assessment system?
  • How would you prepare your classroom if it was the first day of school?
  • How do you prepare your lesson plan and what do you include?
  • How do you handle classroom discipline?
  • If a student in your class has a serious behaviour problem, how will you manage it?
  • What is your approach towards interaction with parents?
